Caught in the middle
It is hard to explain but there has been this feeling the past few weeks of being caught in the middle between the old and the new.
I'll be honest, it is a little uncomfortable and something I am more aware of now that I have gone through this a few times over the past few years. There was a time when I did not fully understand what was going on around me. I was so hyper-focused on the changes that I could not pull back to see or understand this was all meant to happen.
It is a transformation a process of clearing out the old to bring in the new. At times, it makes you want to cling on to the certainty of the past but you know deep down you cannot. The more resistance you give, the more uncomfortable it is. Mainly because you are trying so hard to hold onto things that you are meant to release.
The mantra over the past few weeks has been let it go...let it go...let it go. Letting go is hard because you know what you are letting go but not what is coming in. In your mind it is a gamble but in your heart you know it is the right thing to do.
Let it go. Let it go. Let it go.
So that is what I am going to keep doing and keep letting it go.
