Office Hours
Join me each Thursday from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Anne & Max, Frederik Hendriklaan, 166, Den Haag. Drop in, you do not need an appointment.
If you're working on EAA conformance, accessibility audits, or trying to figure out if either applies to you, come find me. Bring questions, bring your laptop, or just say hello. No pitch, no agenda.
I'm there every Thursday unless I post otherwise on LinkedIn and this page the day before.
How it works
- I'll diagnose, not deliver. I can tell you what your problem looks like, what would be involved in fixing it, and roughly what it would cost. I won't audit your site on the spot, that's the paid engagement.
- First come, first served. If three people show up at once, we'll talk as a group or take turns. Most weeks it's quiet.
- It's a public café. Don't bring anything confidential. If you need to discuss something sensitive, we'll book a separate call.
Who shows up
Engineers and product leads checking if their site is conformant. Founders dealing with a customer's EAA questionnaire. Designers wondering whether a specific pattern is accessible. Lawyers checking a position. People who heard the EAA went into effect and don't know what to do next. Other accessibility practitioners.
Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer so I cannot provide legal advice regarding your website or app.
If your work touches accessibility, you're welcome.
First time?
I'm usually in the middle of the cafe with a black MacBook laptop. Just walk in.
Venue accessibility
Anne&Max has a step-free entrance. No accessible public bathroom on site. If you have specific access needs, email me first and we'll work it out.
Can't make Thursdays?
If Thursdays don't work but you'd like to meet in person, book a coffee separately. If you can't make it in person at all, the regular 15-minute call works for most situations.
