Audio Descriptions
Videos must describe important visual content in the audio track for blind users. Required when dialogue alone doesn't convey what's happening on screen.
In plain terms
A spoken narration of what's happening on screen, so blind viewers can follow a video's action, not just its dialogue.
Why this matters
Blind and low-vision viewers miss anything shown but not spoken — on-screen text, actions, scene changes. Audio description fills that gap so a video makes sense without the picture.
How to detect
Quick check
Watch with your eyes closed. Do you lose the thread whenever something happens silently on screen? If so, an audio-described track is needed.
