Hourly work

I default to fixed-price packages because they make engagements predictable for both of us. If you specifically need hourly billing — for ad-hoc consultation, a question you can't fit into a package, or work that genuinely doesn't scope — these are the rates.

Rates

  • General consultation — €125/hour, 2-hour minimum session.
  • Code-paired remediation — €150/hour, 4-hour minimum session.
  • Document remediation (PDF, Office, EPUB) — €95/hour, 5-hour minimum.
  • Expert testimony / regulatory advisory — €250/hour, paid in advance.

All rates ex. VAT. EU B2B clients invoice under reverse-charge (BTW-id required).

Why fixed-price by default

Fixed packages mean you know what you're paying for and I know what I'm delivering. Hourly invites scope creep on both sides. If your work fits a package — even loosely — it's almost always the better deal. See the three packages →

When hourly makes sense

  • You have a specific question that doesn't justify a full audit.
  • An existing engagement needs a few hours of overflow work.
  • You're a long-term client and we already have working rhythm.
  • You want me to review something on a tight timeline (24-72 hours).

How to book hourly time

Email me directly with the scope and the hours you're estimating. I'll confirm availability and send an invoice for the time block. Work starts after invoice is paid.
