A sure sign of spring is the smell of grass. The NY State maintenance team was mowing the grass near the plaza this afternoon.

Looking to further build on my website-first approach by creating more of a community around my posts through comments and other forms of engagement.
I received my first email from a brand saying they will be changing prices due to the tariffs.
Moment says most items will go up $5-10 but some will go down or stay the same.
“Unfortunately these tariffs make it impossible for us to continue without cheapening the quality, laying off the team, or forcing our mom-and-pop suppliers out of business. We’d rather raise our prices and ask for your help to get through these crazy times than face any of those alternatives.”

Try not to lose hope it always works out in the end. This is also a reminder to myself.

It is encouraging to see Facebook focusing more on friends and family posts rather than advertising and brand content. It will be interesting to see if people start using and posting more on the platform. It is hard to trust social networks like Facebook without thinking there is a catch to all of this. I still do not plan to post on the platform and will continue prioritizing this space.
