Fleeting thoughts and inspiration.
Went to a sound bath to cleanse my soul and release negative energy that I have been holding on to way too long.
A little surprise walking up to snow this morning ❄️
Fixed spacing issues across some of the pages to make them consistent across devices. Also added a photography section to house all of my photos.
Looking to further build on my website-first approach by creating more of a community around my posts through comments and other forms of engagement.
I received my first email from a brand saying they will be changing prices due to the tariffs.
Moment says most items will go up $5-10 but some will go down or stay the same.
“Unfortunately these tariffs make it impossible for us to continue without cheapening the quality, laying off the team, or forcing our mom-and-pop suppliers out of business. We’d rather raise our prices and ask for your help to get through these crazy times than face any of those alternatives.”
Try not to lose hope it always works out in the end. This is also a reminder to myself.
Replied to the article Facebook’s new throwback move: a feed just for friends by Fast Company:
It is encouraging to see Facebook focusing more on friends and family posts rather than advertising and brand content. It will be interesting to see if people start using and posting more on the platform. It is hard to trust social networks like Facebook without thinking there is a catch to all of this. I still do not plan to post on the platform and will continue prioritizing this space.
I took this photo a couple days ago… I love the angle and lighting
Rewatching Severance to see if I can pick up anything I missed the first time
Jamming out to songs from a Severance-inspired playlist.
Replied to the article Digital clutter is still clutter. It takes time, but here's how to tackle it. by Business Insider:
I am not one to delete my emails regularly and get it down to zero. I also have too many apps that I have not used in a while or wanted to try out. As the article discusses managing your digital clutter is just as important as in the physical world. I should do a digital purge more often as I do feel better and more accomplished not seeing 1,000 apps or dozens of unread emails from months ago.
After all these years, I never really listened to the lyrics to Middle by Jimmy Eat World until my commute to work this morning. Very relatable
